# How can I sponsor a student

You can sponsor a student in two ways:

1. By purchasing access to Onsego online classes. To do so, you can send the student an Onsego gift card. Your student receives a code that can be redeemed to purchase access to our online prep classes. You can buy [the Onsego card here.](https://onsego.com/gift-card/)

2. By paying for the GED test fees. This needs to be done on the GED.com website. You can find more information on[ how it works here.](https://help.onsego.com/article/296-can-i-pay-for-the-ged-test-for-someone-else)

*Friendly reminder: Onsego provides online GED classes and is not involved in testing and issuing diplomas. *
