# Where to begin with GED Prep

The best place to start your GED prep is with the subject that feels **easiest** for you. The goal is to build confidence through small wins—what we call the **“small steps” approach**.

Ask yourself: Which subject do I feel most comfortable with—**Math, Language Arts, Science, or Social Studies**? Many students begin with the **Language test**, as it's often the most approachable.

When you join Onsego, you’ll get access to **short videos and guidance** that show you exactly how to get started and create a study plan that works for you.
