Important Update
Canadian GED to CAEC – Summary
- GED in Canada will be replaced by CAEC on May 3, 2024, for adult high school equivalency.
- GED scores are transferable to CAEC for 3 years; both credentials are equally recognized until May 2027.
- In most locations, GED testing will be available until May 3
- Onsego continues to provide online prep classes for the CAEC exam, adjusting content to meet new requirements.
- All Canadian GED prep and test centers will be offering this new pathway for adult learners in the spring of 2024.

The GED (TI-30XS) Calculator course is a short course that teaches you how to use the GED scientific calculator effectively to solve most of the GED Math questions. Taking this course will shorten and simplify your GED math prep.
On the GED Math test, you can use only one type of calculator, the TI-30XS. This is a powerful calculator, but you need to know how to use it. In 35 short lessons, you learn how to perform calculations on fractions, exponents, equations, and many more. We will also show you how to get a free version of this scientific calculator.
