In this episode, we look at various strategies for students, focusing on strategies for deciding which subtest to take first and how to utilize practice tests effectively.
Math is generally perceived as the most challenging subtest, with a lower pass rate, while Science boasts the highest pass rate and is often considered the easiest.
Many educators suggest starting with the easiest part, which is building a student’s confidence. Many other students start with the subtest Reasoning through Language Arts, as they think that’s the easiest for them, and take Mathematics as their last subtest.
On the other hand, students who tackle the hardest first will avoid surprises and potential discouragement later. They feel that if they pass GED Math first, for example, the rest may seem like a breeze.
