The scholarship is for students who are serious about earning their GED, are ready to begin studying, and need help paying for GED preparation.
Each month, Onsego selects three students to receive the scholarship.

Students can access Onsego from a phone, tablet, or computer and study on their own schedule.
Who can apply?
You can apply for an Onsego GED Scholarship if:
- You currently live in the United States
- You are eligible to take the official GED test in the state where you live
- You want to earn your GED
- You need help paying for GED preparation
- You are ready to begin studying
- You have regular internet access
- You have access to a phone, tablet, or computer
- You are willing to study consistently
- You are prepared to follow through
You may also apply if you have already passed one or more GED subjects and need help preparing for the remaining subjects.
The Onsego GED Scholarship is currently available only to students living in the United States. Applications from students living in other countries are not eligible at this time.
Application deadline
The application deadline is the last day of each month at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Applications received after the deadline will be considered during the following month.
How to apply for the Onsego GED Scholarship
1. Complete the online application
Answer the application questions and provide the requested information.
2. Onsego reviews the applications
Onsego reviews and verifies applications after the application period closes.
3. Selected students are contacted by email
Selected recipients receive an email with instructions for activating their Onsego Advantage Pro account.
4. Begin preparing for the GED test
Recipients are expected to activate their accounts promptly, study consistently, and respond to occasional progress check-ins.
