  • In North Dakota, you must be at least 16 years old to qualify for taking the GED test.

  • You can not already have a high school or equivalent diploma.
  • You can not be signed up for another education program.
  • There’s no North Dakota residency requirement.
  • You don’t have to pass the GED Ready practice test first, but this doesn’t apply to online GED testing.
  • There’s also no requirement to register for a GED prep course.
  • You must also pass North Dakota’s Civics Exam.
